I know it's just a band name but we had the name "Southbound" first in Mt. Pleasant TX. Even did a demo at (Robin Hood Brian) studios in Tyler TX.the early 80's . We played all over down there . I was inspired by the area and wrote a country rock song called "Outlaw" Hear it and others @ soundcloud.com/mike-barrett-1 Good luck and keep it real! Cheers , Michael S. Barrett.
